Howlers Restaurant Ucluelet: Family Fun, Food, and Games

Howlers Restaurant in Ucluelet is one of my favorite spots to eat when I’m in town. From great food and a lively atmosphere to arcade games and pool tables, it’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a full family experience.

Bigger Than It Looks

From the outside, Howlers might not seem very large. But once you step inside, you realize how big it really is. The open-concept layout includes plenty of bench seating, pool tables, and space to gather with friends or family. It feels casual and welcoming, with room for groups of all sizes.

Food Favorites

The menu has something for everyone, but my personal go-to is the chicken wings with a side of fries. They’re always hot, crispy, and flavorful. The portions are generous, which makes it easy to share with the family. For days when we don’t want to eat in, Howlers is also a great spot for takeout.

Arcade and Games

One of the things that makes Howlers Restaurant Ucluelet stand out is the arcade. Glow lights give it a fun atmosphere, and kids (and adults) can play games while waiting for food. Between the arcade, the pool tables, and the chalk wall where you can leave your own message, there’s always something to do beyond eating.

Convenient Location

Another reason we eat at Howlers often is the location. It’s within walking distance from Ucluelet Campground, making it an easy stop for dinner or takeout after a day at the beach or exploring the trails. That convenience, combined with the fun atmosphere, makes it one of the best dining spots in town.

Why Howlers Belongs on Your Vancouver Island Itinerary

Howlers Restaurant Ucluelet is more than just a place to eat. With great food, arcade games, pool tables, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place where the whole family can relax and have fun. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or enjoying an evening with friends, Howlers is a Ucluelet favorite.
